Dynamic Teambuilders, Middle East Insurance Recruiters, is searching for a FGA Senior Manager (Fire & Energy, Engineering, Workmen Compensations & Liability, General Accident) for a Takaful Insurance Company in the Middle East
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Underwrites and performs the function of account co-coordinator on key accounts, new business and renewals within established guidelines.
Responsible for production and client relations in order to generate new business opportunities and retain existing accounts which meet the company strategies and underwriting guidelines.
Achieve individual underwriting objectives as set for new business and retention levels established for individual portfolio.
Adhere to guidance and clear instruction on policy issuance, amendments and endorsement transactions. Take responsibility for documents that accompany each policy file.
Produce various reports.
Has an established good relationship with the reinsurance companies. Has participated in development activities to improve or deepen knowledge of underwriting or business-related subjects.
Can assist in developing, enhancing and maintaining underwriting methods and techniques in order to achieve underwriting goals in a cost-effective manner.
Can participate actively in all assignments as set out by management. Competencies
Can participate in negotiating and enhancing the reinsurance treaties. Possesses excellent managerial skills, and has worked in intensively competitive situations. Has strong analytical skills.
Demonstrates sound knowledge of policy wordings.
Communicates a strong team orientation.
Requirements:
University degree, Industry designation CIP, AIIC, FIIC
15 years underwriting insurance experience/ Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word/Excel)
Proficiency in English, Arabic, both written and oral, are an asset. CONTACT:
