VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Server & Storage Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
a. Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
b. 3-5 years experience in Systems Administration
c. Knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and their functionality
d. Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 environment.
e. Knowledge of Visual Basic Script
f. Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and
countermeasures
Responsibilities:
a. Install and configure Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Servers.
b. Knowledge of network solution technologies: including DHCP, IP, OSPF, RIP, and IGMP.
c. Assist with the development of instructional modules and tools.
d. Experience and expertise with server administration within a Microsoft Windows 2003/2008
environment.
e. Ability to conduct frequent data backups and restores with little or no supervision and no loss of data.
f. Ability to troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.
g. Ability to apply operating system updates, and configuration changes
h. Installing and configuring new hardware/software
i. Adding/deleting/modifying user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
j. Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system
k. System performance tuning.
l. Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and devices.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
