VAMSYSTEMS is currently looking for Media Officer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism/media or recognized media internship
· 5+ years’ work experience including working in the media or related field
· Demonstrated ability to research and write press releases and media content
· Knowledge of web content development.
· Demonstrates high level communication and influencing skills
· Demonstrated ability to build good working relationships with media agencies.
· Experience in scan all internet, print media and radio/TV broadcasts to identify any press coverage relating to client (bank). Escalate immediately any coverage which requires a rapid response.
· Follow up on any customer feedback/complaints identified and ensure it is resolved or mediated
· Timely identification and mediation/escalation of issues.
· Produce a daily report covering `hot’ news and circulate to the appropriate parties.
· Produce weekly media report tracking media coverage and impact.
· Acts with a sense of urgency and is able to manage expectations.
· Demonstrates persistence in seeking correct information and diligence in giving accurate information.
· Fluency in Arabic and English
Domain: Banking.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Banks in Qatar.
