VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Head of Trade & Project Finance for one of our clients which is a leading Bank in Qatar with the following skill set and terms and conditions.
Skill Set required:
· Bachelor Degree; Masters desired.
· 5-10 years experience in banking.
· Demonstrated knowledge of banking operations
· Demonstrated knowledge of project management.
· Ensure land loan portfolios match the financials.
· Experience in Project Finance, Treasury backoffice operation and Trade finance.
· Verify the interest accruals
· Ensure balancing and reconciliation of Land Loan portfolio
· Oversee the processing of all back office transaction.
· Fluency in Arabic and English
· Ensure processing properly executed.
· Verify the interest accruals.
· Liaises with the Business Financing team to ensure processing is done within turnaround timeline.
· Ensure timely recovery of land loans within agreed turn around time.
· Ensure rejected payments are attended to by front office and responded to within turn around times
· · Maintain relations with correspondent banks to ensure smooth processing of transactions.
· Oversee the processing of all back office transaction
· Verify the processing of:
· FX limits and open positions
· Money market positions
· Implement controls re: open position.
· Verify and review treasury open positions and account records.
· Ensure processing of investment product transactions.
· Ensure maintenance of all records and any exposures on investment portfolio.
· Review corresponding bank relationship and ensure all required procedures are complied with.
· Promote good communication and collaborative/team work environment within the section and across the department
· Work with each direct report to set their personal objectives and ensure section objectives/KPIs are met.
