VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Head of Projects Contractors for one of our clients which is a leading Bank in Qatar with the following skill set and terms and conditions.
Skill Set required:
· Minimum Civil Engineering Degree; Masters desirable
· 10-15 years industry and contracts engineer experience; preferably in consultancy/contracting.
· Demonstrated in depth knowledge of project and construction management
· Knowledge of construction projects including project specifications and conditions of contract
· Demonstrates strong budgeting, financial and payment management skills
· Knowledge of office applications and project management/engineering software.
- Review and verify the preparation of design consultancy pre-qualification documents and pre-evaluation report
- Review and verify pre-qualification documents and evaluation reports documents prepared by consultants
- Review and verify tender documents and evaluation reports prepared by consultants
- Review and verify contract documents
- Review and verify issuing of contract Letters and Awards
- Verify contract documents
· Identify and manage or escalate any major risks identified
· Contribute to the settlement of contractual disputes and claims
· Formulate section goals, plans and strategies with Unit Heads
· Oversee section policy and co-ordination meetings
· Assign & delegate tasks and authorities to the Unit Heads
· Ensure team adherence to BANK and departmental policies and procedures
· Fluent in Arabic and English
